The Institute of Image-Guided Surgery (IHU Strasbourg) and IRCAD have developed a unique multidisciplinary fellowship program benefiting from the great synergy between both institutes. Together, IHU Strasbourg and IRCAD cover the entire translational chain linking research, education, innovation and clinical activities in the field of Image-Guided Minimally Invasive Surgery.
Positions are available for Fellows to develop existing and/or new research projects and those willing to focus on the design of innovative medical devices and procedures, in a stimulating international environment from bench to bedside. Fellows will benefit from an outstanding environment with access to all expertise to achieve prototyping, preclinical testing and validation as well as technology transfer.
Applicants can be chief residents or graduated physicians in general and digestive surgery, gastroenterology or radiology (postgraduate level), young engineers and business managers interested in medical technologies.
Selection criteria are based on experience, research orientation, as well as leadership potential in the field. We encourage candidates from all countries to apply.
The fellowship is a full-time, 1 year to 2 years intensive program with possibility of financial support if needed.
