International Fellowship Program
Join the Global Fellowship Community at IHU Strasbourg
The IHU Strasbourg Fellowship Program offers physicians from around the world a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge translational research, advanced pre-clinical and clinical training, and multidisciplinary innovation at the forefront of image-guided and minimally invasive medicine.
Each year, up to five fellows are selected from diverse medical backgrounds and career stages. Physicians from all disciplines are encouraged to apply, with the goal of building a truly global, multidisciplinary fellowship community representing every continent.

Work side-by-side with robotics, mechatronics, computer vision, and machine-learning experts developing next-generation image-guided and AI-assisted technologies. - Training as both learner and mentor
Enrolment in IHU’s flagship educational programs, with opportunities to contribute as teaching assistants, mentors, or co-instructors according to experience.
Candidate Profile
Physicians with a strong interest in image-guided and minimally invasive interventions, including:
- Core domains:Image-guided surgery, therapeutic endoscopy & Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), interventional radiology and oncology.
- Emerging domains: Interventional pulmonology/bronchoscopy, ENT, minimally invasive gynaecology, thoracic surgery.
- Related fields: Advanced digital pathology and data-driven diagnostics.
Applicants should also demonstrate a strong motivation to contribute to international educational activities.
Fellowship Conditions
Fellows receive financial support commensurate with their level of training and experience.
