The institute provides an ideal environment for transferring innovations from research to clinical and industrial applications. The IHU has embarked on a new phase of its development, and its ambitions include stepping up its digital health programmes, and accelerating the creation of innovative companies, and European collaboration projects.

Inventing the tools and therapies of tomorrow

On the tech transfer front, over 200 patents have been filed, 75% of which have been transferred, and 50 industrial partnerships have been established since the creation of the IHU. The institute has developed a high-performing innovation team to support all R&D projects and explore the rapid creation of innovative companies, accelerating the transfer of innovations while also creating jobs and nurturing entrepreneurial talent locally.

DIAMS

DIAMS (Data and Artificial Intelligence for Medicine and Health), which has been awarded the BE-EST Filière d’Avenir label, is a platform that supports companies in defining and implementing their innovation strategies.

It can support them in all the challenges of an AI/Health Data project: technology, data science, legal, regulatory, and ethical implications (GDPR, protection, acceptability); innovation, intellectual property, commercial potential, medical expertise, patient cohorts and institutions cohorts, training.
