Objectives

Related to its research and education activities, the IHU Strasbourg also carries since 2021 specific trainings for experimental procedures. Open to individuals involved in designing and carrying out experimental procedures or to individuals performing experimental procedures, the objective is to raise awareness about the protection and the respect for animals used for scientific purposes by taking into account the ethical and regulatory components.

The program combines distance learning, theoretical and practical courses. These curricula are organized in partnership with the University of Strasbourg and received ministerial approval.
